The location is pretty good. Located in the old town. All the places are easily walkable. The hostel is an extension of a hotel so it might not be the best place if you are looking for a hostel like atmosphere. The rooms were clean and organised, and so were the toilets and the bathrooms.
My friend and I stayed at the hostel for 3 nights and had a nice time. The location is ideal in terms of vicinity to old town square and the water as well as next to great clubs and restaurants. Din helped us check in and he was very kind and helpful.
Comfortable beds, large storage lockers in the room and a room full of interesting, friendly people were all pluses. The hostel has bathrooms next to the rooms and a small kitchen. Very simple yet efficient.
The women's shower was out of order so we had to use the one down the hall. The hostel's older and a bit run down but we found it clean and warm.
Would recommend to people who want a to stay in a great location on a budget and don't expect extras.
When we first walked in, we were given beds in a 20 person dorm with one shower between us... it was full of middle aged men and as 3 young female travellers we just didn't feel comfortable or safe. I would suggest getting a private dorm - which was clean, secure and in a great location - 10 mins from the main station and close to the centre of Old Prague. There is a café which serves good, cheap food, and the reception area is really nice! Staff were very friendly as well!
Had a loud room, although still managed a good night sleep. There was a club downstairs which was playing some rockin bangers all night. Wifi was poor if not non existent. However the location was great and still managed a great time in Prague.
The room was outside of range of wifi. The rooms and common areas are kept really clean, the cleaning lady deserves a medal!!! It as big hostel and I stayed in room 200 dorm where there is a kitchen and seating area. It is a good place to hang around with fellow travelers, cool meals together and drink a beer. They do need better cutting knives, which were horrendous and broken.
The location of this hostel is very good, 5 minutes by walk to the astronomical clock and if you want to go somewhere it is just 8 minutes walk to the bus stop or tram station. From outside it looks like a hotel rather than a hostel. The price is reasonable too. The room is clean but the bathroom is rather creepy and dark (the only downside of the hostel). I won't dare to go to the shared bathroom alone (I travelled there in group) so if you are a solo traveller I suggest that you choose the en-suite room.
What a perfect hostel , at only 15 euro per person per night for me and my friend to have our own twin room how can you go wrong ? Our room was clean , bathrooms were OK , not very glamorous but who cares it's of the standard hostel standard! Perfect location only a stones throw from old town square! So glad I picked a good hostel after reading some horrible reviews of other hostels in the area! Staff were friendly and very helpful, if I was coming back to Prague I would stay here again!
The people at the reception are so kind and helpful. The location of the hostel and open buffet breakfast is also good. Whenever I saw someone who is working at the hıstel they always smiled at me! That was great! They also have a good wifi and clean bathrooms. I definetaly recommend this hostel.
Liked: The room was clean and looked recently renovated. The room was cleaned daily and the ensuite was clean and modern. It was in a great location, a 5 min walk to the old town square and close to many restaurants, bars and supermarkets.
Disliked: Although the the staff kept the rooms and shared lounge clean and tidy, some of the reception staff seemed rather rude when checking in and out. (Waiting for a minute before even being acknowledged at the desk, and no interaction when checking us in and out).
Liked: 100% practical. Clean, functional and superb location.
Disliked: Unlike our other hostels, it was so characterless. The staff on duty were unfriendly and uninformative and in general there is a really commercial vibe, Lacking in colour.
